1. How much does it cost?
    • All prices are in the order form.
    • Whole and half animal pricing is based on the actual hanging weight. Price includes all processing and packaging, except for pork there is an extra charge if you want sausage or smoked bacon or ham.
    • Half hogs are usually around $600
    • Half cows are usually around $2,000
    • Cow shares (quarter and eighth) are a fixed package of meat for a set price
  2. Refund Policy
    • Please call if you need to cancel your order prior to pick up. If we have started cutting your order when you cancel, your deposit will not be refunded.
    • No returns once order has been picked up.
  3. Hanging weight
    • Whole animal pricing is based on animal hanging weight, the weight of the animal after it’s been dressed and cleaned. On average, each pork half carcass weighs about 120 lbs, with a yield of around 60%. For example, a 120 lb half hog will yield about 72 lbs of cuts and sausage. The remainder of the weight consists of fat, cartilage, bone, and other connective tissue.
  4. What are the next steps?
    • Order – You will receive a confirmation email within a day or two of submitting your order form and deposit.
    • Cutting – We will cut, package and freeze all of your meat
    • Pick Up – We will send an email to coordinate a convenient time for you to pick up. We ask that you try to pick up within two weeks of the meat being ready.
    • Balance Due – This second email will contain a final invoice with the balance due, which can be paid when you pick up.
