Pick up your Meat Share: Archway Farm: starting Friday, March 3rd, open daily 9a - 7p

Dear Shareholders:
We set our maple taps today and can almost feel the seasons changing. We have a very small (26 tap) sugar operation for our personal supply as well as what we use for our breakfast sausage and bacon.
We have now been offering our meat shares for a full year. We appreciate all of you being loyal customers. Going forward we are renaming our share offerings (to be small, medium and large) to simplify things. It won’t impact anything from an existing customer perspective as the old shares fit neatly into the new categories.
The one change you may notice is that for the small shares (aka basic small) we are getting away from offering a roast or whole chicken every month. We’ve found we often don’t have small enough roast options available to not take up a majority of the share value.

from Healthy Recipes
Ingredients
- skin-on chicken drumsticks
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Diamond Crystal kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Steps to Make It
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with high-heat-resistant parchment paper and arrange the drumsticks in a single layer on the parchment.
- Make the seasoning paste: In a medium bowl, use a fork or a spatula to mix the olive oil, salt, pepper, and spices.
- Using a pastry brush or your hands, coat the chicken pieces with the seasoning paste.
- Bake the drumsticks uncovered until their internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F, about 40 minutes.
- Baste the drumsticks with the pan juices using a clean pastry brush. Serve immediately.
