Our stockpile of bacon from the large amount of pigs we shipped this spring has finally run out. We have more coming in soon, but I expect our bacon availability to be inconsistent for the next couple months. We are a farrow-to-finish operation, all pigs are born here on the farm. We try to have a steady supply of pigs going to the butcher year round, but things don’t always work out as planned.
