Our pig roast last weekend was a huge success, thanks to everyone that made it out and helped put it on. We are now focusing our energies on moving pigs to winter housing.
Our big project for today was moving our winter sow house to its new location, on concrete with frost free water. This past week we have also been putting pens back up in our large hoop barn, where the majority of the pigs spend winter. Our goal is to get all our pigs into winter quarters by the end of November.
