In the kitchen this week we made Cilantro Lime Chicken Sausage and Mexican Chorizo, both of which we have been out of for a little while. We also made more salami as we were running low on that. Next week we are shipping pigs on Monday and cutting pork at the end of the week.
We connected with Peter Heins this week to bring Great Brook Butter into our store. Peter is buying milk from Crescent Farms and using the facilities at Great Brook Farm (both in Walpole) to make his butter. High Lawn Farm butter which we have been carrying is a great product, but not nearly as local as Walpole is!
