At the Farm Store: Nov 17 – Nov 23
We did not raise any turkeys this year, we had too many other things going on. It does feel a little strange not to be crazy busy dealing with turkeys this weekend before Thanksgiving. We got the last group of pigs in winter housing earlier this week, before the sleet and rain came. Our beef animals on the other side of the arch will also soon be in winter housing. Once they finish move through our last pastures they will be eating hay in the heifer barn at Stonewall

We have two new Limited Edition sausages in our store, a fall Pork & Apple Sausage and a Lebanese inspired Kafta Lamb Sausage. This Saturday from 11am-2pm we are hosting the Monadnock Conservancy’s Annual Celebration. There will be music, food, beer, face painting, farm tours, and the weather is even looking good. Hope some of you can join us. We spent this past week restocking beef, we have ground back in stock plus a larger variety of steaks

We spent this past week cutting beef, which came just in time as we have been running low (or out) of a lot of cuts. We have a good group of beef animals lined up for this fall and winter, we are hoping this will get us the more consistent supply we have ben looking

We picked up more tomatoes from Green Wagon Farm and made another batch of Tomato Garlic sausage this week. We always enjoy producing these unique one time sausages, it just has been hard to always find the time. It’s on my list to do a better job with that going forward. We also are curing
